Event Details
California is the 5th largest supplier of food in the world, and our agricultural revenue is nearly double that of the 2nd highest U.S. state. This agricultural success largely depends upon a clean, reliable source of water. What happens if that source becomes scarce? You’ll learn what foods have higher “water footprints” than others, how conventional agriculture threatens the health of our water, how nature-based solutions such as regenerative agriculture can benefit water, and what you can do to ensure a reliable and clean source of water in our beautiful state!
Our presenters will be Sarah White, St. Joseph Worker and Sr. Sara Tarango, also known as “Sr. Soil,” an advocacy partner with Bread for the World. To learn more about Sr. Sara's advocacy for regenerative agriculture with Bread for the World, click here.
