Join us in writing to our Senators and Representative about the upcoming Farm Bill! Sr. Sara Tarango, CSJ, who works closely with Bread for the World, will host this Letter Writing Workshop.

We need your help with our letter writing campaign! Do you have a few minutes to join us in writing to our Senators and Representative about the upcoming Farm Bill?
Sr. Sara Tarango, CSJ is working closely with Bread for the World as they conduct offerings of letters to members of Congress who have the power to impact the policies and programs that can end hunger. Urge them to support reauthorization of a Farm Bill that builds healthy, equitable, and sustainable food systems. By taking part in Bread for the World’s 2023 Offering of Letters in support of the Farm Bill, you will help support domestic nutrition programs like GusNIP and SNAP, as well as funding for critical international food assistance programs.
Sr. Sara calls our attention to the fact that our Catholic faith invites us to enter into the following principles of Catholic Social Teaching:
Participation in the economic, political, and cultural life of society.
Rights and Responsibilities to food.
Community and contributing to the Common Good.
A template letter will be provided as well as pens and paper.
