Event Details
Commemorate Laudato Si' Week (May 19-26, 2024) by watering and weeding milkweed and nectar plants for the Monarch butterflies in Bommer Canyon. With your help we will create islands of milkweed and nectar plants that will help support the seasonal migration of the butterflies.
No experience necessary; volunteers will use shovels and small handheld tools. Expect to walk about half a mile on mostly flat or slight slope trails.
Minimum age to volunteer: 15 (must be accompanied by an adult).
NOTE: Limited spaces! Maximum 10 volunteers. Once we have reached capacity, we will close the registration and open a waiting list.
