Event Details
California is home to one of the largest and most influential transnational populations in the world. From electoral power and public policy to culture, law, business, and international advocacy, Californians shape outcomes far beyond state and national borders. California Leads: Beyond Borders explores how, civic participation, and cross-border networks are redefining influence in the United States and across the Americas.
California Latinos are not just a voting bloc, they are a transnational force. With deep ties across borders and growing influence in elections, governance, arts, law, labor, and entrepreneurship, Californians are reshaping political power locally, nationally, and internationally.
This conference convenes elected officials, strategists, organizers, scholars, artists, business leaders, and community advocates to examine how community influence operates across borders and how that influence can be strengthened, protected, and expanded in an era of demographic change, political polarization, and global interconnectedness.
